Please pray for the families of the boaters killed on Tennessee River in Waverly, TN near Mason's Boat Dock over the weekend. Sam Luffman & Donald "Ducky" Harris were competing in a night bass tournament at Mason's Boat Dock when a barge is believe to have hit their boat, killing both men. They were reported missing after they did not check in at midnight, and their boat was found north of Mason's dock, and a life jacket had floated nearly 8 miles away.

Sam was a good friend of mine, his wife Amanda is actually one of my best friends, and you couldn't have asked for better people to be around. They were looking forward to their first wedding anniversary, which is coming up in 12 days. He was so full of life, energy, and always made your day better to be around him. The only son of a preacher, Sam was the baby of his family, and had a way of making even the hardest things seem understandable. He'll never be forgotten, and will always be loved.

Sam & Ducky worked together, and often fished together. Both families, and their friends, desperately need prayers.

I am so sorry to hear this. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families for their losses. I always hate to hear about accidents like this happening.
